A man from Astoria in Queens, New York City, went a bit too far to deter the dogs in his neighborhood from hanging around his tree beds. He mixed black shredded car tires with push pins, and spread this mixture in the three tree beds in front of his house, all in the name of discouraging dog traffic.
The man in question hates the dogs using the tree beds for their bathroom business, although it is quite a common norm for the city’s dogs to use tree beds. He has been up to similar sneaky activities in the past, when he mixed glass shards in the beds where the dogs frequented.
The neighbors are enraged as this man’s actions led to dogs being hurt and injured. One of the dogs ended up with bleeding paws, while another woman claimed that her dog started bleeding from the mouth just by sniffing around the dagger-like glass pieces left by the man.
The police have been informed and they are currently investigating this matter. They believe that at least a couple of laws have been broken by the man’s hazardous actions. We think it’s about time someone stood up against such torturous tactics aimed at innocent animals. What are your thoughts about this man’s mean and malicious scare tactics?
