Ever since Eddie Collins lost his beloved dog, Jenny, at a gas station, he has been completely heartbroken. He’s spent countless hours searching for her, posting signs, and even speaking to news crews, hoping to find his four-legged best friend.
The small, white Chihuahua disappeared without a trace at a gas station. She had a collar and identification, but somehow managed to completely disappear.
The Tucson, Arizona, man has even visited local shelters every day in hopes of spotting Jenny in one of the cages.
In addition to searching for her, Eddie has also posted signs all over Tucson. Moved by his plight, his friends have even taken to social media to plead with people to help find the dog.
“My Name is Jenny I am 2 years old. Please help me get home…My Good Friend Eddie W. Collins lost his female white Chihuahua her name is Jenny…if anyone has her or knows were she might be please call Mark…please help find her,” a friend said in the post on Facebook.
So far, Eddie has no leads…and he is getting desperate.
Now, in addition to a cash reward, the heartbroken Eddie is now offering up his own home and all of the property that comes with it as a reward. He is willing to pay handsomely just to have his Jenny back.
It may seem extreme, but to Eddie, Jenny is his life.
“For me, it’s not about material things,” Collins told News 4 Tucson. “It’s about her.”
He’s hoping the extreme reward will encourage people to help find Jenny. Eddie doesn’t have many options left, but he will do whatever it takes to reunite with his beloved dog.
